3D shapes!

This morning we were learning how to make 3D shapes with toothpicks and marshmallows. We made cubes, triangular prisms, square pyramids, triangle pyramids, and cuboids. We thought about edges, faces and corners. We had a great time. After we made different shapes we had to divide the marshmallows into equal groups and then we ATE them!

Yum - 1 lesson and we did Geometry and Division and then later on we are going to write instructions on making 3D shapes!

  2. Hi Room 13
We loved seeing your creative geometric creations, they looked scrumptious too! When we were in Year 2 we made them with winegums which was lots of fun!
